Dresses

I am sharing a sewing project here after a long time. These dresses are made as gift to little girls for Diwali. Hope they  like the gift.

Some thing for me...

These days I go crazy on beads. Something for me...
Though I have made many necklace for my daughter, this is the first time I have made one, specially for me, in my favorite color. I love the way it looked on me and wish to make many such beauties...

Handbag for me...

Long ago, long...long ago I wished to make a hand bag for me and at last I made one  and used it, for the trip to our native last week.

It is fully lined, with rolled handles, has many rooms to carry my clutch, coin purse, water bottle, camera and loops to hold my keys...so no need to dig my bag to search my keys when I return from shopping :)

 At last I added my favorite red flowers and made it so special for me...only for me.

Maternity sash action photos...

Some days back I made a  maternity sash for Edita Photography.

Now see the magic...how it looks...The way she handles the props makes them very beautiful.

Learning new crafts- Home made clay

 

Yes.... I tried my hands in making homemade clay  and the result was very good. I loved working with it, made many roses, my favorite one. For the past few months I am working with flower projects. Still have some clay remaining and would like to try some more designs when I find time.

 

 

I made some studs using the clay to match the dress. The hairband and studs were custom made for one of my friend's daughter.

Drawstring pouches

 My daughter needed some gifts for her friends. Little girls will always love small pouches and bags so  I made these  drawstring pouches. 

yes... my daughter loved the gifts and was very happy to see her friends

 name in it.

Gloden tree

I learned to make this golden tree from a magazine. I made this three years before but I think, still it looks good.

This is my first showcase piece made up of white cement.
 My daughter helped me in making the stems, fruits and the pebbles around the tree.

Stocking flowers

Look at these flowers. Impressed by the beauty of the stocking flowers i tried this. The art of flower making is easy but maintaining it is not so.

Beautiful roses

These are hand made roses with organdy cloth. I made these roses several years before. It took me m....any days to finish it. I have made many artificial flowers before but this one I love very much. I may post a tutorial if any one wishes..The flower vase was also made by me.
