Sewing for summer

Its only mid march, but sun is very hot, almost it is summer in Chennai.
So  I have a plan to make some cool summer dresses for my daughter.

This is the first one...
a simple frock, with thin shoulder straps, providing more room for air.
I made it little bigger, just for her comfort.

the back...

The details in the yoke...

I have more such cool colors in my stash, so keep watching.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments for the lace skirt

  14. This is so pretty. Love the material and the colour. Do you sew from patterns, or do you make your own patterns? So talented.
