Sewing for summer

Its only mid march, but sun is very hot, almost it is summer in Chennai.
So  I have a plan to make some cool summer dresses for my daughter.

This is the first one...
a simple frock, with thin shoulder straps, providing more room for air.
I made it little bigger, just for her comfort.

    very beautiful dress.Lace work adds more beauty for this.I already have the same type dress.But its ready made.Nice creation.

    Which material is used for lining?.Is it cotton?

    Nice summer dress!

    summer is here for sure! I am bit busy with ME Made March and some 'winter ' wardrobe for my sister who is going on an abroad assignment. So will start sewing my DD's summer wardrobe my April.
